The worldwide market for textiles and apparel exports in 2013 according to United Nations Commodity Trade Statistics Database stood at $772 billion.

Companies to compete in this field have to come up with new ways to sell their product, and especially after Covid pandemic more and more sales happen online, this links together programmers, fasion designers, tailors and retail web shops. Some have even advanced in 3D body scanning (see attached video)

Task



For this project you are going to use your fashion skills to create a wardrobe, customizable to however you would like to dress!

Extension: Try finding your own photos to use in place of the clothing used already.

  1. Learn how is computer science used in fashion
  2. Import Tkinter library that will help to create GUIs - grafical user interfaces (pages 6 to 7)
  3. Use variables and subroutines to create left menu button that swiches shirt to te left (pages 8 to 9)
  4. Create right button that switches shirt to the right (page 10)
  5. Create left button that switches trouser to the left (page 11)
  6. Create right button that switches trouser to the right (page 12)
  7. Inicialize the Tkinter window (page 13)
  8. Storing and displaying the Images (pages 14 to 15)
  9. Displaying the grid layout (pages 16 to 17)
